This site has free test prep in math and reading comprehension grades 3-8.  The students have to read a passage and them answer a multiple choice question.  At the end of the "test" the students review how they did on the "test".  This can be printed out for each student.  The students can also enter a study mode after the test where after they read they answer a multiple choice question and the software will let them know if they are right or wrong.  The software also explains why the response is wrong to help the child figure out what they need to do next.
